Adelaide Still started work in Mrs. Eddy’s kitchen, then, progressed to her maid, as well as helping in her daily routine.  Mrs. Eddy came to rely on Miss Still and it was clear that Adelaide grew much from the wisdom our Leader imparted to her.  This booklet also contains references (pages, paragraphs and lines) to the Bible and Science & Health at the burial of Mrs. Eddy.  The references were excellent!

Construction of the Mother Church by Edward Bates

A quite remarkable story of Edward Bates and his wife Caroline.  After finding out that there was much opposition & very little work accomplished, Mrs. Eddy gave Edward Bates the task of speeding along the Construction  of the Mother Church.  Mr. Bates worked many days with a few hours of sleep and some with no sleep at all.   Mrs. Eddy also she that he give one of the addresses at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1895.

Reminiscences of Mary Baker Eddy by Henrietta Chaufrau

Golden Memories by Clara Shannon

A Biographical Sketch of Victoria Sargent and Laura Sargent

Reminiscenses of Mary Baker Eddy by Edward Everett Norwood

Edward Everett Norwood was a valued student of Mary Baker Eddy in her home about the years 1905 to 1907.  He was tasked with various duties by the Leader in keeping the business of the church and the home.  Most notably, he was entrusted with seeing that the last copyrighted edition (in 1906) of the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” was published in accord with the standard of Science.  Many glimpses and notes about Mrs. Eddy.

The Story of the Busy Bees by Maurine Campbell

Many Christian Scientists may have heard of the Busy Bees, but not known much about them.  Maurine Campbell has preserved a wonderful account of these precious children that so loved Christian Science that they stepped up to help bring funds toward the building effort of the Mother Church.  Miss Campbell came into Christian Science through a physical healing.  Maurine knew the Truth when she not only saw it, but felt it.  In her self-effacement, she asked to be used by God to help prosper this mighty swelling Cause of Christ-healing.  How grateful we all can be that such stories as this have not been lost.
