One of the most outstanding booklets in this “pink and white cover” “Construction of The Mother Church”. Edward Bates was given the task of getting the construction of the Mother Church at a time when there were delays, workers not working, and when the workers were saying “the construction will never be completed in time. Mr. Bates pushed ahead and had very little sleep–often staying awake all night or having 2 hours of rest. Mrs. Eddy also entrusted Edward Bates with giving one of the addresses on Christian Science at the Chicago World Fair in 1893.
