In 1939, Herbert W. Eustace recorded “Clear Correct Teaching” on 93 Glass Records using a home-recording machine. These records have been minimally restored to reduce distortions and to preserve the original tone and quality. The ONLY restoration was “hiss reduction” to reduce background static and “balance” to keep the volume at an even sound level throughout. A few distortions remain. Please forgive these blemishes. The primary goal was to preserve this rare, quality piece of art as well as to make it accessible to you and the public.
Mr. Eustace took occasional liberties with words–in some places the wording is not exactly as in the “CCT” book. He also says “Page number” when he was referring to the Record number.

“In her Vision of September 10, 1887, as recorded in Files of the Library of Congress, Mrs. Eddy said: “After I had seen my way in Truth, I had to go back to teach them the error . . . I then thought the Truth–the Truth as applied to sickness was all that is necessary. . . Step by step I began to learn that the remedy of SIN must be searched out . . . The arguments to heal sickness caused by the fear of physical beliefs would not heal the suffering caused by the fear of SIN. I have been learning the remedies for SIN through suffering that the fear of SIN has imposed. . . When you think you have mastered disease on a physical basis you are mistaken. You have got to learn that it must be healed on the basis of SIN causing it . . . All the beliefs of SIN and their methods of destroying the peace of mind, filling the body with disease, administering poison through mind with more effect than the doctors could administer it through matter, have to be met and overcome through divine Science by every mortal here or hereafter.” (Preface p. 384.)

FLASH DRIVE
Mr. Eustace graciously recorded WHOSO READETH on January 27, 1943. The 41 recordings were on 2 glass-based records and 39 vinyl records. A home recording machine, manufactured by the Presto Recording Corporation of New York, was used. Although most of the digitizing removed most of the static and background noises, some distortions remain.
The records (both the CCT and Whoso) were lovingly given from Mr. Eustace to Joe E. Johnston, then to Paul and Pat Ambuul, then to the ChristianScienceBookStore.com. With the desire to see the public have this wonderful truth spoken by Mr. Eustace available to be heard and digested, they have been put on a flash drive. Since the records are over 70 years old, and even though they were lovingly cared for in a warm environment, distortions have occurred, but by listening to the words and becoming lost in the eminence of the truth they state, any distortions are not heard by the one EAR or the one Mind unfolding itself.

The Seventy-Third Edition of Mrs. Eddy’s Church Manual from 1908 has been typed out and put in paperback book form. There are several changes in each edition of Mrs. Eddy’s books and this is no exception. It is quite different from the 1910 Manual. Very interesting read especially after reading the 1910 edition. Mrs. Eddy at her finest!

The Eighty-Eighth Edition of Mrs. Eddy’s Church Manual from 1910 was the last Manual written by Mrs. Eddy. It was used extensively in The Great Litigation, where the Board of Directors accused The Trustees of the Christian Science Publishing Society of not “submitting” to the Board of Directors’ Control.
This is a duplication of a photographic copy of the 1910 Manual.
